E-Safety
Today’s children live in a world where the online environment has become seamlessly embedded into everyday life, and we acknowledge this as a school. We understand the power of this environment and the opportunities that it presents, but we are also responsible for safeguarding the children, therefore we put a high importance on e-safety. Children receive lessons on how to stay safe on the Internet, as well as how to behave appropriately. (digital citizenship) The school will not only teach the children about e-safety, but will regularly update this website and provide opportunities for parents to come in for workshops to learn more about keeping their children safe on-line. Below you will find useful downloads and information about e-safety. Go to THINKUKN0W website for lots of useful resources for parents on how to keep children safe on the Internet.
There are many resources available to parents and below are a series of links to support and inform parents on the best way to protect their children from harmful and inappropriate online content. If you have any safeguarding concerns at any time please contact the school's Designated Safeguarding Lead, Mrs Sophie Sear.
