Hello Class 5,
Last week before half-term! We really enjoyed the quizzes last week, and a big congratulations to Anna, Connie, Alex and Sophie for winning their house competitions. There will be a final this week for those four. This is going to be the point of the race where many of us will start to flag a bit, and it's important to keep things going. Keep sending us in that work, and let us know when you are stuck on something. We are always responding to the e-mails you send us, and we can catch up with you on Zoom as well.
We have set the WRH maths again this week, and all the resources are below. (some of you have been e-mailed separate ones) There is also an end-of-term quiz for you to complete. It's a good idea if you can try to complete this on your own and in a reasonable amount of time, for eg 20-25 minutes. Please let us know how you got on!
Have another great week.
Mrs Atherton & Mr Carere
Why not try a 6 minute quiz at home? I've attached a few below, you will need to use a stopwatch/countdown timer. https://www.online-stopwatch.com/countdown-timer/
If you want to create a maths quiz or worksheet, try: https://mathsbot.com/oldBot/worksheetMenu
PE is not on the weekly timetable, but remember to keep active! A daily walk or jog (can you run 2000 metres in 10 minutes?) Or try one of the Joe Wick's daily challenges: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Na1rzigYlSU
