St Nicholas CE Primary is an inclusive school.  We welcome all children with equal warmth, acknowledging the contribution each child makes to the wellbeing of our school community.   We have high expectations of all our children and are committed to removing the barriers to learning for every child and supporting participation in all areas of school life.  We see the progress and wellbeing of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities as the responsibility of every member of staff within our school community.

Some aspects of the law on education, health and care (EHC) needs assessments and plans have changed temporarily to give local authorities, health commissioning bodies , education settings and other bodies who contribute to these processes more flexibility in responding to the demands placed on them by coronavirus (COVID-19).

Whilst we are making all reasonable endeavours in order to meet the needs of all pupils attending St Nicholas CE Primary School at this time, we are not able to fulfil all of the provision outlined in our SEND information report.  If you have any concerns about about support for your child please speak to the school SENCo.

The full guidance on this can be found here.
